Eligibility Criteria

Please determine whether you meet our basic qualifications to apply for funding. You must be able to answer 'yes' to the following criteria questions:

Public Charity Status: Is your organization a 501(c)(3) Public Charity in good standing with the IRS?

State: Is your organization offering services in Western Washington State?

County: Is your organization located in King County or the immeadiately adjoining areas?

Focus: Does your project focus belong to one of the following categories?

  • Educational/vocational training
  • Health-related issues
  • Services to the elderly
  • Services to children with disabilities
  • Services to children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Services to at-risk youth

Application Submission Deadlines

Educational/vocational training: July 14

Health-related issues: May 31

Services to the elderly: July 14

Services to children with disabilities: May 31

Services to children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds: August 31

Services to at-risk youth: August 31

Process

We accept and review applications throughout the year and grants are normally disbursed in November. The review process may take up to 9 months. Applications are approved by the Board.
